Real voices?

Is there any possibility of the in-game voices being changed to use real voice actors?

It's just at times the voices seem a bit too robotic.

even if maybe the script was to be put available so people could try and do it themselves.

Me and my friend would like to try a bit of voice acting and though trying to do the script would be fun.

Just a thought.

Re: Real voices?

The voices are computer generated because the team didn't have the time, money or resources needed.

Re: Real voices?

It could, but it would be a hell of a hard work smile
And the team is not willing to help in any third party project of this sort.

Re: Real voices?

Ok, i can help here ^.^

High quality equipment: If you have a rock band microphone or something just lying around, it can be used for voice recording.  Just plug it in and you are good to go.

Software: Well personally I use audacity and I think it works great.

Good voices: This varies from person to person.

Don't expect the sound quality to be brilliant. It's better to have computer generated voices than something with lots of feedback and other unnecessary noise in the background.

I can't see Audacity being a problem.

But it's needed.

Re: Real voices?

I love this game but I was a bit confused why the voices didnt sound....real.
But now I know why. I would still love to see the people have real voices.
The mod is awesome btw. Nice work

Re: Real voices?

Is it just drag, drop and owerwrite or would i need to change the coding to let it work properly?

Re: Real voices?

speaking of voices there was a bug I noticed where the character's lips wouldn't move while speaking. I know someone who can edit voices so not a problem also.
