Wow that is some horrible ABHing...
it's absolutely miserable!
I'm sick of this argument.
I'll come back when something has changed.

WOW. I've been gone from the community for some time and I come back to this...
I can say first of all I'm very glad this place hasn't died! It was certainly at a standstill when I last checked months ago. I'm glad to see people are still somewhat active. You know, it's cases like this that cause the rules and regulations to be fine-tuned to allow less cheating and such, making for more fair records and playing. It's just sad when someone comes along who cannot compete and has to resort to cheating to impress others (and I'm not referring to this as the case, I've seen it numerous times at another community involving Perfect Dark, Timesplitters, Goldeneye, etc.)
Now, I've only read through this stuff once and watched this Stimich guy's videos, and I can't say with any sort of evidence anything about it...whether he's cheating or not.
I will say, after watching people speed run Goldeneye and Perfect Dark for literally 12 years and 9 years respectively (some people still play hours a day, every day, since the games came out, believe it or not), the things I've witnessed in these videos are almost too incredible. It's also nice to see someone new come to the set who is very amazing. I'm a little curious about how humanly possible some of these scores are though...the first video I saw was 14 seconds on Chamber 15 (of the original portal), and it definitely seemed inhuman. The incredible accuracy and timing of some manuevers, at my first viewing, led me instantly to believe that someone played the game in slow motion and then sped up the recording. I've seen plenty of speedruns where people spent 10 hours a day for a week straight perfecting a new strategy or even one small tweak (not including the years of experience they already had on the level), and I've seen TAS videos as well. These videos are definitely hard to draw the line in.
This really makes me want to get back into speedrunning though.

Alright, at closer examination, this guy clearly shoots portals at an incredible rate that can ONLY be done when the game is slowed down.
If this guy isn't cheating, then my name isn't Josh.

For the moment you're still Josh.
Looks like he didn't manage to reproduce any of his scores filming himself.
Which is strange since he tries to tell everyone he broke every records in a week or so.

We've been there Josh, and there's a whole lot more pointing to cheating. I think the argument has died though as I think his friends stopped their bullshit.
Thought I would add to what you said also Josh about the PD, Timesplitters and GE communities by saying it is hard to distinguish between TAS on any platform or game, but after playing it for so long and knowing how things work, it isn't too hard to spot.

Oh, and by the way, welcome back

Ah welcome back mate . Can't really say I've been active lately as well...
I've gotten pretty hooked on L4D (well not right NOW as my computer crashed). And I'm also busy with FFXII and yes, FFVII. Still some good 'ol Diablo 2 from time to time. Now that I think about it, L4D doesn't really fit into that list of games doesn't it! Ah well, it's something else than grinding
Also, I've seen some TS runs before, some of them are mind boggling. Got some link to stuff that people really need to see? I always enjoy watching speedruns.

Haha, right.
Anyways, I just got back from a 3 week trip to Europe, I'm going to try to get my computer in shape to run this game and then try to get back into speed running in the next month or two.
