I just had an idea! You should have a Domo mumbling stuff, and have a 'translation' of it pop up at the bottom. Put that right after they start the first level.

The new "directional sign" textures for the 19th level, are those the ones that point to level 14 and 15, rather than 18 and 19? It's just that I haven't found a bug report for those, but if you know about them already, there's no need for me to make one either.

I personally think that the first level will be way too easy like this, considering that before the update, it was possible to run through without killing any turret, and now, it will be even easier.
I think you should make it easier another way than just disabling the turrents, because it will encourage the people more to run through to the elevator.
I'm not so sure about the remaking of the first levels. It will pretty much screw up all the challenges, imo. But I guess raging noobs aren't fun to deal with.
Other than that, can't wait for the patch. Changing the color of the particle wall is definitly appreciated. I wasted 15minutes figuring out how to get the cube across, because I didn't know i could pass it through the particles

Any way that sound clips might be added for when the cameras drop?
I found a way to make it so GLADoS speaks when dropping one, so I don't know if this can be configured to the human TTS any way.

Because these are sounds played randomly when one detach a camera and we don't know who's in there at this time. Mike? Erik? Peter? We can't use random sounds, because it could play a voice from someone who's not currently monitoring.
And Ph0X, we did this because in 80% of the email we received, it was (with voices) the only complaint people wanted to do. And we're not blind either, we saw how people reacted and felt about this terrific difficulty from the start, it won't get much easier, just less frustrating.

Me too. My cube hit the disintegrator and vanished when I thought it hit the fizzler. So I didn't think it was possible to take it with me at first. (In the narrow hall with all the moving walls and disintegrators.)

Haha seriously, forgot mentioning that. The first time I tried passing it through, it hit the fizzler and I though it was the particles.
Maybe put a space between the particle and the fizzler?

1 question. When you make the update will it be the whole game in one installer and take forever to download. Or will the be a mini installer to remove unused files and put in the new ones.
2 question When I run the new installer will I have to disable UAC on vista like last time.?
One point: Its ok when I run installers and put my admin password in but I dont like to disable UAC.

I don't know yet.
When everything will be compiled/ready, I'll make a list of changes files and see if it's a good idea to make a "1.0.0 to 1.1.0 patch". If the patch is as huge as the game itself, it would be useless.

I changed the installer software, and used something more mature.
I saw a "run as administrator on Vista" option inside.
