Portal: Prelude Forum

Hello...

I've just downloaded Portal:Prelude, firstly i'll say that it looks to be a great game and i thank the team for their efforts in doing it all. However, i am experiencing some technical problems with the program.

History:
- I downloaded it installed etc.
- After the third restart it actually loaded the starting movie properly and on time. At which point i attempted to adjust the resolution to run at the native screen resolution.
- It took a couple of restarts of the game before it would accept a change to my native screen resolution, i.e clicking the apply button would have any effect.
- I then tried to adjust it so that it worked with the screen aspect ratio. This again didn't work so i tried to restart the game. At this point the game will no longer load at all, it just flicks between screen aspect ratios; game and desktop.
- I've tried running the game in windowed and novid mode. No success.
- I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod to no avail.

The next step is the unstalling of either portal or steam or both. Neither of which i really want to do. So any help people could give me would be great.
