I think you've got the least steps challenge for chamber 04 wrong. It says 2 steps by Josh, while it links to his 2 steps run of chamber 14

Ok, I have just completed a speedrun for chamber 17. I have managed 1:22 so far, but there are areass of huge improvement such as getting the orb to enter the orb catcher on the bounce before...maybe even 2 bounces before.

Also, I split the run I just completed into 3 segments, because the last part with the 4 turrets is extremely hard to do fast using the method I am, it requires very good portal precision and good timing, or you will die from the turrets.

There was 1 little trick I used for the turret area that involved handling the cube on the other side of the wall to throw it without being pushed back by the turrets, its hard to do, but it works about 50% of the time.

By the way, I will be uploading the video within the next day or two.

anyway i managed to get chamber 17 in 60 seconds. but it was very sloppy. my record is 50. so if anyone beats it i will try to get 50 recorded.and the reason that there are skips in the video is because i am using trial fraps.

i might not be able to get 50 seconds for chamber 17 for the ladder for a while cause that was done on my older bros pc which handles it at 100-200 fps. i only can go on it sometimes. i have prelude on my computer but its almost unplayable.

next time i go on my older bros pc i will try to do some more runs.

The Chamber 07 run has already been done in 7 seconds by Kingpin.

That's called portal bumping and I believe it's not legit for the purposes of the challenge ladder.
