Just got chamber 18 within 2 minutes and with only 2 portals and THE CUBE!

Thanks, i still don't know if it's legit or if it count's as a bug.
Because Nyko18 said when doing it with the camara is an exploit and doing it with the cube is legit, so is it legit?

Btw, how are you guys in chamber 17? It's doable in 12 portals, don't know about 11 yet.

I've got some requests for you guys though. Monkeyman, could you add vid responses of your 5 portal run of chamber 15 to my respective vid? And sg3s, could you do the same with your 9 portal run of chamber 16?

ill re-record the chamber 15 one for the full run and then do that as a vid vesponse...
also, sg3s's 9 portal on chamber 16 is a vid response to my 10 portal one... which is a vid response to someone elses 12 portal one... :p
cant wait to see chamber 17...

No it's not legit, do make a vid if you can do it with 6 without any bugs/exploits.
I can do a legit 6 portal too
turrets make nice stairs.
edit: thinking about it, I can do a 4 portal run using the PB bug.....

bleh... iv been working on 19... damn i hate the great big tall part.... so annoying...
i can get to that part of the chamber in 5 portals... (that includes putting all the energy balls in their recievers...)
i also had a got at chamber 14 advanced and was able to do it in 7 portals...

Nice job sg3s and monkeyman I added your vids to the first post.
I haven't watched your 3 portal chamber 18 run yet sg3s, 'cause I haven't thought about it yet. And I want to find it myself :p
And yep, I think I can do 14 in 4 portals as well... (with bumping). Nice job getting a legit 6 portal run too monkeyman!
I'll start with chamber 19 too pretty soon... It'll be annoying, yeah :p Have you tried a chamber 17 legit run btw? 13 is easy without any bugs at all.

i think i got 13 for chamer 17, but i cant remember and the final elevator doesnt close when i finish, so it doesnt record how many i have done... was there a fix for this released??
im also gonna have a go at some of the advanced maps and see how few portals i can do on some of those maps... :p

Nope, hasn't been released yet, but NykO18 said that the patch probably will be released Wednesday.
It's a good idea to try some of the advanced maps as well! I'll give that a go too in the days to come. But I want to finish 19 first before the release of the new patch
Btw, we've already got a very nice vid collection going on here
