Strange graphic after start

Whenever I start Prelude, I have to go twice to advanced graphic setup menu, and click Ok. Until then, graphic is strange and slow (see screenshots)

I run portal with latest (1.1.5) Wine in Ubuntu 8.04.1 (nVidia GF7600GT), but until you start to blame Wine, I'd like to say that Portal, HL2 (E1), CS:S and others Source games runs fine.

DirectX 6? WTF? Also notice the broken menu, and it runs pretty slow. Click Ok twice, and you get to next state.

It doesn't need another comment. DirectX 8.1 is now shown in menu, and all advanced options are set to default, so I've to reset them as I want.

Ufff, it's finally ok and runs fast.

Also note that I own original and legit version of Portal and HL2.

P.S. Recent update to Wine 1.1.6 doesn't changed anything.

Sorry, the game wasn't designed to run on anything other than Windows.
We said it in the FAQ, in the requirements section.
