Something you can 'find' if you look for it... Sorta like how you look for eggs on easter... well in western culture it is normal to look for eggs the easter bunny has hidden >.>

the (computer) part is also part of the link but the forum can't detect that so it messes up, copy & past the link

In North European Cultures you mean.
In Mediterranean countries (Spain, Portugal, etc) there's no such thing as Easter Eggs because that was actually a germanic tradition, so in those countries where the Roman Empire didn't make it's way through they just continued doing that tradition even after being christianized.

But anyway, I disgress. You've already found most I can remember.

I think the other ones involved destroying cubes on purpose.

Re: Portal: Prelude -- Easter Eggs!

Here is a true easter egg; a funny one too:

In the 2nd test chamber I think, Eric and Mike are talking but you can't hear them because their voices are distant and muffled. If you put subtitles on, you can really see what they're saying xD:

Eric: "She has a nice ass, doesn't she?"
Mike: "I don't know... she's not really my kind of girl."
Eric: "I would definitely love to..."
Mike: "Wait Eric... I think the mic is still on."
Eric: "Oops."

lol

Great find.  Thank you very much, Portal: Prelude creators, for putting in something for us Nintendo fanatics!

EDIT: By the way, the world 4 pipe goes to chamber 11 and the world 5 pipe ges to chamber 13.

But there's more !

I used the HEV suit (type "give item_suit" into the console) zoom to read more.  This is what I found on the screen:

-The "Start" button has been changed to the "fart" button and the Windows flag is now a smiley face.
-There is a Steam shortcut in the upper-left corner.
-There is a shortcut in the upper-left corner that I think says "Shortcut to vtex_gui.exe".
-There is a shortcut labeled "Batch Compiler" on the left side.
-In the upper-right, there are (top to bottom) a shortcut to a network location called "The Shared Folder", a Word document called "Todd's Hours.doc", a folder called "[something]Backup", and a zipped folder (the name is covered).
-There is an Excel file open called "TPS Reports - Jan 1998.xls" (interesting since Mike, Eric, or Peter says at one point that the year is 2001).
-There is a Windows Explorer window open to C:\temp which lists a bunch of JPEGs set to open with a program called Paint Shop Photo.
-The Quick Launch contains a bunch of Counter-Strike icons and a Hammer editor icon.
-The taskbar shows that too many windows have been opened to fit on one row and that Counter-Stike is open.
-The Langauge Bar is enabled.
-The notification area shows a Counter-Strike icon.
-There are some other links to some other EXEs, batch files, and games that I cannot make out on the left side.

Is there really anything of importence there or was it just put there so people like me who notice minor details stare at it for hours?

I do believe there one in the same.

either he reused her skin to make a new character or its actually her from the series which isn't a impossibility due to the fact that the gman is spotted many times through out this game.

Actually, after looking at it again, I think it really looks like one of the generic female models from Half-Life 2.  I do not have a picture, but if you have the Source SDK, open the model viewer and go to the humans\Group01 folder.  I think it is probably female 1 or 2, but I am not sure.  I looked into this possibility because, in case you did not notice, almost all the Aperture eployees are HL2 models wearing Aperture Science shirts.

Re: Portal: Prelude -- Easter Eggs!

This is not exactly an easter egg so much as it is just random.  I was noclipping around in the last map in Prelude when I found this skybox.  When you look at the right side it looks like a normal skybox (no ground), but when you look to the left, the sky oversaturates and the ground looks like there is a leak.  Pictures can be found here (http://picasaweb.google.com/zmyaro/Port … 2894215186) and here (http://picasaweb.google.com/zmyaro/Port … 2935535554).

It's the screen from CS:S, if you load up cs_office you'll find the screen there is the same.
