Some guys from valve screw us all with the source engine soo if you want to fix it temporaly you can do the follow

1: go to c:\program files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
2: copy portal prelude
3: paste in c:\program files\Steam\steamapps\"your steam name"\portal
4: rename the original file "portal" (i renamed it as "portalor")
5: rename portal prelude file as portal
6: load portal in steam

Sorry if i didn't explain well, i'm not english

if any doubts i will answer it as soon as i can

i'm pretty sure that's there's another way to fix it touching some config file, but i don't really have a good knowledge in how the source engine works, so this is some kindda "brute force" solution.

Is there any good tutorials for learning how to use the source engine? ^^
I'll apreciate the help for this summer

this instruction works ;] but when i try start a new game nothing happen sad
