Portal: Prelude Forum

Hey

Thanks for making Portal: Prelude. That first off.

Second, I have Portal installed on another HDD and the path is: D:\Portal (where in this folder the hl2.exe is located). Do I install Portal there (example where it asks me for a install path do I set it to D:\Portal or D:\Portal\portal prelude ?)

I don't see Steam anywhere in this folder hierarchy.
I believe mods can't work if you don't use Steam.
In fact, it's even a requirement in our faq :

Just installed Steam (A regular install) I had to cleanup some old data. Didnt want to but....
